I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We had gorgeous weather and got to spend time with family and play outside. Both boys had a blast this year.
We did the city Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, and their buckets were FULL!
This morning they were both up at 5:50 ready to see if the Easter Bunny had come by. He left some treats inside, and then left eggs outside the front door. (He indicated that he did not want to leave them out in the yard, since there was a slight chance of rain overnight.)
We went out to Grandpa and Grandma's for lunch and more egg hunting. Julian also had to get in a quick drive on the lawn mower and Kaleb had to take a spin in his truck. Then a little game of baseball was a must.
I also managed in sneak in a couple of nice pictures of the boys too!!
Happy Easter to you all!!

I Heart Valentine's Day
The boys have been hard at work these last few days getting ready for Valentine's Day. Grandma kept them busy on a couple of days that they didn't have school. They made melted crayon "stained glass" window art, and a woven paper heart.
And they couldn't wait to get their Valentines filled out to exchange at school.
Here's wishing you lots of hugs and kisses from your favorite people this Valentine's Day!!

Christmas 2012
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Both of the boys were very excited at the idea of Santa visiting and counted down the days until we could all open our gifts from under the tree. Kaleb could hardly contain his excitement as Christmas day drew closer. It was great to see them as excited to watch someone open a gift they made/gave as they were to open gifts.
Here are a few of the highlights:

Christmas Program
Last night we enjoyed the grade school Christmas Program. Julian did a great job singing and dancing with his class. The Grinch made an appearance later in the show and had Kaleb's full attention the entire time. He made sure that I knew that it was not the real Grinch, just someone dressed like him.
The boys also got their new Christmas ornaments this week too. They were pretty excited to hang them up on the tree.

Stay tuned for an update about this blog. I think the changes that are in the works will be great and hopefully as a reader/follower you will like them too. Until then...

Feelin' Festive
I love Christmas! I really love dragging out all of my decorations and dressing up the house. I love putting up the Christmas tree and hanging ornaments up with the boys. And I love the anticipation the boys have leading up to Christmas Eve and Christmas morning to see if Santa came for a visit.
We had a very productive week and weekend of getting lights up on the outside of the house (thanks honey!) and getting the inside all prettied up. I still have more I want to do, and a storage tub FULL of miscellaneous Christmas ball ornaments that I have big ideas for.
Here are some snapshots of what I have been up to:
Here's wishing you the opportunity to feel like a kid again as the excitement for Christmas builds.
